Happy 1st Birthday Leah

Some things about Leah at 1:

I cannot believe a year has come and gone already.
It seems like it was just yesterday when we found out that we were going to have a little girl.
It seems like just yesterday.
In one short year she has managed to capture our hearts over and over again.
She is cuddly, and loves to giggle and to be tickled.
She adores Jordan and she laughs and smiles when he enters the room.
She can say Dada, Mama, and something that sounds just like Jordan.
She smothers us with cuddles and is just starting with those very first slobbery baby kisses.
She has started “sharing” food by taking food out of her mouth and offering it to anyone who will accept it, yum!
She loves to go outside to play, “read” books and take baths.
She loves, loves, loves animals. She screeches with joy when any type of animal comes within 10 feet of her.
She hates to sit still to get dressed, or changed or do anything else that requires her to stay still.
She has her two top middle teeth and the bottom two teeth are just starting to poke through.
She does not sit still and play with any one toy for long but she will sit and watch TV.
She really likes to watch Elmo.
She likes to dance and wiggle and sometimes if I sing to her she will try and mimic me and sing too.
Her best imaginary pal is Elmo and her best real life pals are Jordan and from what I hear she is quite smitten with Maxwell (Bridget’s son) from daycare.
She loves to ride around in the push car. She sits with her hands at 10 and 2 with her hair blowing in the wind and a smile on her face loving every minute of it.
She likes to eat. Everything. I can’t think of much she will not eat.
She likes to rub her hands through her hair when she is done eating.
She has just started to stand up without holding on to anything or anyone.
Happy Birthday Leah! I am so lucky to be your mom.
You are truly a dream come true!
