Leah wanted to stay outside while Daddy was mowing the lawn but I was worried she was going to get in the way. I tried to let her sit on the porch to watch but she kept getting down to walk run over to him and "help" just like Jordan, so we had to go inside. Needless to say she was not happy with me. Of course I had to take pictures. I am a very bad Mommy! Now that the drama is over and all is right with the world again these pictures make me giggle. I laugh because oh the drama around here sometimes. Sorry Leah but it is kind of funny. Love you girlie.

 Daddy taught Jordan how to pedal his trike!!!

We tried before with no luck. Turns out the seat was too far back for him to get the right leverage,  just a few adjustments...

 

and away he went!

Jordan was concentrating really hard to get it just right.

 He was so proud of himself.

We are proud of him too!

What Made You Happy Today?

For Jordan and Leah it was seeing geese and ducks in the pond near our house. Really, this is how excited they were! I was lucky enough to pull my camera out just in time to catch the smiles and the excitement on their little faces, love it!

Almost Three

A two year old is so many things.

two little monkeys

Jordan and Leah have been fighting over toys a lot lately. When I tell them to stop he tells me, "We are just playing". Maybe they are because most of the time Leah is smiling, screaching and running around the house too, a sign she is happy right? Believe me she is not going to stand for any bull that girl can stand her own. She is such a sweetie and gives in and often gives him his way but if she really wants the toy she will fight for it. Love that! Even with all the screaming and monkeying around he often stops and at random moments gives her kisses, tells her that she is his sweetie pie and then runs off again. That just melts my heart!

One Woman's Weed

He was running towards me with a beautiful purple flower when he remembered my favorite color...green! He couldn't give me a purple flower. The woman he adores loves the color green. His sweet, thoughtful, big heart. He quickly dropped the purple flower and he raced back and picked me what some might call a weed, but what I call the most perfect beautiful little green flower.
