It is fun for me to try photography projects that allow me to step outside of my comfort zone and grow creatively so when I saw that the March photo challenge at Rock the Shot was floral still life I was excited. It was the perfect way for me to embrace spring and try something new and creative. I took the opportunity here to experiment and play with textures, crops and tones. It may not feel like it yet here in the Midwest but the sights and sounds of spring are all around us.
