It happened to me today

Under The Bed

Jordan said there was something under the bed in the office
Daddy had to have it
He needed me to move the bed
Right away
Daddy would be very happy about it
I told him I was not strong enough to move the bed
It would have to wait
He insisted I move the bed
He seemed very worried
I finally looked under the bed
To see what was so important
He said, "See I told you, Daddy's hiccups are under there!"
"He needs those to catch the bad guys Mommy."
I couldn't help but giggle
I saw what he was talking about
Now I knew why he was so worried
Daddy went to work without his
Handcuffs, you know he needs those to catch bad guys

**disregard the need for a haircut he is going to get one very soon I promise,  it is just a little long in the front so he can spike it up just like his dad

2 Minutes Flat

I try to bribe Leah  ALL THE TIME to take pics

 she always runs away

and says, " no pictures mommy, no pictures"

today I pulled out something new

so she waited

but she got impatient quickly

and wouldn't smile

(I call her serious Sally)

when I realized she was about to run

I busted out the treat

I got one of my favorite pics ever

marshmallows are a hit

but then she ran

and she was fast

too fast

and this all went down

in two minutes flat

*** I had a really, really hard day with Leah today
She did not nap
She was in her bed but when she finally fell asleep Jordan woke her up
I paid the price
She cried and cried and cried for most of the day
When she finally went to sleep for night
I just wanted to look at Leah pictures

One Big

Pie hole

Today Jordan was...
 Putting all the leaves in a "pie hole"

It makes me laugh just to write it

We read quite a few books each night

After we are done with each book,

I ask him to put each one in a PILE next to the bed

Apparently he has misunderstood that word,

When he is done reading his books

  He has started asking me to put the books in his "pie hole"

Today he was making a "pie hole" of leaves

 I had to share with all of you

I have tried to correct him
But he is just not getting it

I sure hope it makes you smile!

Coffee Time

This "coffee" was made with 99% flavored creamer

Leah could not get enough

She was so cute

Sticking her nose in the cup

Trying to get every last drip

Jordan was looking on

Like she was crazy

He is all about the rules

According to him (and most sane people)

Coffee is for adults not kids

He would not even try it

I love that he follows the rules

Helps to keep me sane

He helps to keep her in line

I love that she is adventurous

And she will try new things

Keeps me on my toes
