fifty two on friday ~ week 15 (paper)

I look forward to Jordan coming home with his papers from preschool every Thursday. As soon as he gets home I ask him to show me all his work and to talk about his day. He will excitedly show me what he did that day. He will explain to me what the direction on the paper was and exactly how he had to do everything. He is always very proud.

After he is done he picks his favorites and puts them in his own special drawer so he can look at them whenever he wants.  I go through the drawer when it gets too full and pick out the really special ones and put them in my folder so I can keep them for when he is older.

I still smile when I find papers of my own or my husbands from when we were young.  My hope is that the papers I keep will bring Jordan some joy later in life. I am not sure if it is quite the same for a guy but I am keeping a few things for him in hopes that maybe they will bring him some happiness when he is older.

Now please sure to click on the link and visit the lovely and talented Brandie Pahl, Michigan photographer. Have a Happy Easter everyone!

These are all precious but I LOVE your perspective on the bottom right image and the way you can just perfectly see his name on the paper. I feel lucky to have one of Jordan's pieces of art on our fridge :) Great series Christine!
