52 on friday week 25 (1.8)

When I saw the theme for the week I almost did not participate because I am a chicken and the theme scared me. I never get anything in focus at 1.8. I usually hover around 2.5 and maybe if I am feeling especially wild, 2.2. Stressed out enough with the theme as it was I could not think out of the box and so I set out to photographing one of my kids, again. When both her eyes were in focus after just a few shots I was a very happy momma.
Next up in the circle, check out what the lovely and talented Amy Ames, Holly Springs, NC Photographer has come up with this week.

Shooting wide open takes some practice, but it's addicting once you figure it out! Precious smile on her face and those eyes...oh, you'll have your work cut out for you when she gets older!

The results were amazing Cathy, if only I could be more consistent. Practice, practice, practice I guess. Thanks she is a cutie. Hopefully her big brother will look after her, ha!

Wow, I LOVE this one. So natural and pretty and soft but you're right, still in focus where it needs to be. I'm glad you decided to participate, because you did an excellent job!!

Look at that face! That is the most precious expression, and her eyes really pop. Great job! Love that it just feels like a quite moment at home. LOVE it!
